James I just sent this to you in e-mail regarding MJ tribute: Thank you for doing the MJ tribute... I'm still in shock. Woke up this morning thinking for a split second it was just a crazy dream until I turned the news on. Have a CD in my car of about 150 songs from 80's & 90's with a ton of MJ on it so I was listening to that on the way to work... I realized that when I'm in a REALLY down mood I would always listen to MJ to lift my spirits. Remember in HS a b/f wrote the entire lyrics of PYT in a letter to me (corny! lol) and that when I first got my car, 1987, I was 18 I had a cassette to play in my HUGE boombox with some billy idol and MJ and that "the way you make me feel (think that was the name)" was one of the songs I listened to OVER and over again as I drove my car around... 6/26/2009

I encourage everybody to donate. This is a great station and it is a labor of love for the guy who does it. Here in the northwest arctic region of Alaska I have the choice of only ONE local station, my only other option is internet radio. This is the only station I have found that is not only commercial free but also plays music that I enjoy all day.

There are many, many stations that play 80's music all over the internet but Lost80s.com is the only place that knows that the 80's was not just Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Tainted Love, Relax & Take on me. That's the real reason I listen to this station. You play a lot of forgotten tunes as well as album tracks that never made the charts. Good Work. If I ever have an Internet radio station, this would be exactly how I envision my playlist to be.

To everyone who enjoys listening to this station - -If you are like me you have been all over the net trying to find 80's music to listen to. This station is the absolute best and the guy who runs it does it out of his own pocket and only asks for small donations ($75 a month) to help keep it going. I know I only donate $10 a month myself, but if all of us did so, we would be able to keep listening to this great station. I dont want to sign on one morning and discover that the station had to be shut down. Please, please donate to help keep it running.
